The Well Association
The Mazaska Well Association was established over 50 years ago. Today, it consists of 41 cabins. We have bylaws that are governed by the Board of Directors, which consist of a President, Secretary, Treasurer and 3 Members at large. The Board is responsible for the day to day operations and that we are in compliance with the by-laws. We have annual dues that that are determined by the Board. Our annual meeting is held on the 3rd Sunday of July at 2pm. We need a quorum of 25% of the 41 cabins. There is only one representative who can vote for their cabin, no matter if the cabin has multiple owners. If the by-laws need to be changed, we need a quorum of 75%. The elected officials will meet prior to that meeting. If problems should arise throughout the year, the Board will hold a special meeting. The well is turned on sometime in April and turned off towards the end of October (depending on the weather).
