Weed Committee

Dandelion plant or weed growing in a lawn. It is spring and the perfect time to treat lawns for weed problems. Shot with Canon 5D Mark II DSLR camera.

The Weed Committee

As a reminder, it was agreed in 2019 to not spray for weeds in 2020 and 2021.  This means that everyone is on their own again this year for how they want to deal with the weeds at their cabin.

Logan, from Landscape Potential (we had appx 22 people use Landscape potential last year, and the feedback from everyone was very good) has quoted our Co-op $425.00 per cabin (this includes a 2500 sq ft clean-up of weeds around your dock and shoreline, and a path to open water from dock. They cut and pull weeds and dispose of them. We are looking at the dates June 21st through June 30th to do the weed cutting and clean-up.  Dates are filling up fast from other lakes in the area,  so please get your reservation in soon with Logan.  Logan cell# 507-384-8005  and his email is logan@lakeshorepotential.com, Obviously, you can use anyone you choose as long as they are a DNR-approved contractor in weed control and cutting guidelines, as the mechanical and chemical guidelines differ.
